Polling Day: Support the Liberal Democrats

On the 5th May, Londoners will get three chances to vote for a Liberal London - A pink ballot paper for Caroline Pidgeon for Mayor, a Yellow ballot paper for Julie Ireland for Bexley and Bromley and an orange ballot paper to elect Caroline Pidgeon's London Liberal Democrats to the London Assembly.

How the vote works:

There are three ballot papers in the Mayoral election:

The Pink Ballot Paper

This is to elect the Mayor. You get a first and second preference on this paper.

To support the Liberal Democrats:

Select Caroline Pidgeon as your 1st preference.

If you want to back another candidate, but like what Caroline Pidgeon has to say:

Select Caroline Pidgeon as your 1st preference.

Use your second preference for the other candidate.

The Yellow Ballot Paper

This is to elect the constituency candidate. You get one vote on this paper.

To support the Liberal Democrats:

Select Julie Ireland as your candidate.

The Orange Ballot Paper

This is to elect the list candidate. You get one vote on this paper.

To support the Liberal Democrats:

Select Caroline Pidgeon’s London Liberal Democrats.

If you can only spare one vote for the Liberal Democrats, vote for us on the Orange ballot paper. This will guarantee that there is a Liberal Democrat presence on the Greater London Assembly and will help us fight for a Liberal London.
