Lib Dems come out swinging

A cadre of Local Liberal Democrats volunteers hit the streets of St Mary's and St James on Saturday to get out the Liberal Democrat message.

Over 900 copies of our first FOCUS newsletter of 2026 hit doormats across the ward in a single hour, sharing local issues with local residents. From cost of living to potholes, from housing to anti-social behaviour - Liberal Democrats are campaigning on issues that local people care about.

They were joined by local candidates for the ward, Dave Sexton and Oliver Brooks. In May, local people will have a genuine choice of who they want to call the shots in the local Council for the next four years. The people we've talked to tell us the same story - the Conservatives have imploded, Labour have lost credibility and Reform are the last resort of a desperate people.

People in Bexley are craving politics that bring people together and are being turned off by division and anger. The Liberal Democrats are bringing that.
